Dog Parks

Hours

Beagle Bay: Open 7 days a week From Dawn till Dusk

Cedar Grove: Open Monday-Friday after 6:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sundays after Noon

Because dogs are highly social animals that need a lot of exercise to be healthy and happy, Kennel Resorts has incorporated two dog parks into our 7 acre wooded facility. Our private dog parks offer the security that all dogs have passed a temperament test and are current on vaccinations. Our membership is $80.00 annually per dog (non-refundable) . Whether it’s diving into the refreshing water of Beagle Bay or following the scent of a scampering squirrel, your dog will dig it.

Please call our office to set up a temperament test before entering the parks with your dog(s).

Cedar Grove

Cedar Grove sits at the front of Kennel Resorts' lush wooded acreage. Your dog will love dashing through the Terrier Tunnel of Love and digging in the sand box.  For those a little more adventurous, scaling Pooch's Play Set will keep him happy and excited.

Beagle Bay WaterBark

Ready for a swim? Beagle bay WaterBark, featuring Lake DogbeGone, is the place to go!  Dock diving or a leisurely dip offer relaxation and fun.

If your pooch loves the water but isn't much on swimming, we have you covered.  Water cannons and a trickling waterfall allows even the most timid water dog get a taste of the action.

Dog Park Membership

If you and your dog would like to become a member of the Kennel Resorts dog parks, a temperament test must be administered by one of our staff and passed.  All tests are conducted by appointment only which can be set up by calling our office at 513-831-7297, or by filling out a day camp form. Temperament tests take about 3 hours. All dogs are required to provide proof of vaccinations DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies, which must be administered by a licensed veterinarian.

What exactly is a Temperament Test?

A temperament test determines how your dog responds to social interaction with other canines.   We will first take the time to get to know your dog. If that meeting goes well, we then introduce your dog to a pack of 3-4 social dogs of similar size.   If that goes well, we will continue to slowly introduce them to the rest of our pack. Once your dog "passes" they are free to play in all parks. Please note: Dogs should be socialized prior to setting up a temperament test with us. If you just adopted a dog please give them 3-6 months to adjust to their new home and lifestyle before requesting a temperament test.
